Its finally the most wonderful time of the year. The weather is starting to dip below 70 degrees and the holiday spirit is starting to settle in. It is the perfect time of year to snuggle up in a warm blanket, grab some hot chocolate and watch some Netflix. For those that want to see something full of  holiday cheer, then this list will help you find a good one.

First off is Scrooged, which is a more modern twist on Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Despite A Christmas Carol being done a million times and everyone already knowing the story, it is actually quite entertaining. It stars Bill Murray as a selfish TV executive who learns his lesson through three ghosts but with a comedic 1998 twist.

Next on the list we have Just Friends, a 2005 romantic comedy which does not revolve entirely around the holidays but it takes place during christmas so it counts. It stars Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart and is about Reynolds character visiting home for christmas and he runs into his high school crush, played by Smart.

Netflix also provides the 1994 remake of the 1947 classic, Miracle on 34th Street which is about a young girl who is told Santa Clause is not real only to find him for herself and prove he is.

Last but not least we have a Very Murray Christmas. It stars Bill Murray himself with a fleet of other Hollywood A-listers done in a mockumentary style and is based on a twist of variety holiday shows.

These movies should help you get into the holiday cheer and kick the season off right.
