Ridley Scott, famous for the first Alien movies and Prometheus, has done it again directing another Alien movie. Alien: Covenant is rated R and is 2 hours and 3 minutes long. This Sci-fi flick will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time with gory scenes and scares around every corner. This movie is not suggested for squeamish viewers due to the exorbitant amounts of graphic images. The special effects are very realistic, almost as if you were right in the action. Some of the great acting is done by Katherine Waterson who plays Daniels, a member of the Covenant crew, and Michael Fassbender who plays Walter and David, both human-like robots. The crew sets out to find a new planet to inhabit, but instead finds themselves with some unlikely ‘neighbors’. The terrifying twists and turns will have you jumping into the lap of the person sitting next to you. Forget about sleeping for the next few weeks after seeing this movie. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who has a taste for adventure and a thirst for adrenaline.
