On June 23rd, Disneyland’s California Adventure is getting a new look as Pixar Pier is taking over, Paradise Pier.

Movies like “Toy Story”, “Coco”, “Monsters Inc.”, “The Incredibles” and more are being implemented into Pixar Pier. New shops, attractions and games are being added as well with a Pixar touch.

Mickey’s Fun Wheel will now include different Pixar characters on the side of the ride and also themed Pixar carts to sit in.

California Screamin’ is being redesigned as The Incredicoaster where the Incredibles’ family are back in Metroville. The passengers are launched with super suit creator, Edna Mode, trying to catch Jack Jack as he escapes from her watch.

Paradise Pier Ice Cream Company is now known as Adorable Snowman Frozen Treats, from Monsters Inc. Lemon flavored non-dairy treats will be sold as well as other frozen treats. Toy Story’s Poultry Palace has been added where big cartons of chicken and Buzz Lightyear themed churros will be sold.

Inside Out’s Bing Bong is getting his own treat shop, where candy and his signature saltwater taffy will be sold later in the summer. The emotion, Anger, is also getting his own stand called, Angry Dogs to sell hot dogs to the hangry visitors.

More attractions and shops will be opened up later on this year as well as 2019, like Jessie’s Critter Carousel and Bing Bong’s Sweet Treats. For now, families and Pixar lovers can enjoy the many fun activities and sights that Pixar Pier has to offer.
