Rebecca Raze, Photojournalist
New to The Aztlan staff this year, senior Rebecca Raze serves as one of the newspapers’ photojournalists. Though she enjoys capturing a variety of events and mediums, she is partial to photographing nature, as inspired by her many road trips and love for the outdoors. Due to this preference, she is able to offer more of an innate perspective to The Aztlan. Her favorite quote regarding photojournalism is one in which an unknown author states “Let your words be few, and your exposures many,” as it illustrates the powerful allure of a simple photograph and it’s conveyance of meaning, criticism, and disclosure.
