Mrs. Lukach & England

Brynn Radak (BR): Where did you study abroad? And for how long?

Meghann Lukach (ML) : Brighton, England for 6 months

BR: How old were you when you studied abroad?

ML: 19 years old

BR: Why did you decide to study abroad?

ML: Love to travel, thought it would be great (which it was), no better time since all costs were the same for school.

BR: Did you live on your own or with a family?

ML: I lived with 4 other students from around the US.  We are still friends today.

BR: What was your favorite experience while studying abroad?

ML: Traveling on Spring break. 3 week spring break [where I] got to see all of Europe!

BR: What were the downsides of studying abroad?

ML: No Mexican food!

BR: Would you recommend studying abroad to your students. If so, why?

ML: Yes, it was the highlight of college. I have so many stories that I can still remember so well, like bungee jumping in the Swiss Alps! It was a blast!
