How long have you been at EHS?

I graduated from Esperanza in 2007, then I began working at Esperanza in 2009 and I have been here since.

What are some of your hobbies?

Hiking, running, yoga, painting, reading, and drinking a lot of coffee.

What subject(s) do you teach?

Language Arts I, Language Arts II, Government and Economics, and Language Arts III

What made you want to be a teacher?

I’ve wanted to be a teacher since I was very young. I really enjoy working with and learning from children. Children are the future and I love being a role model to them.

If given a day off what would you do?

I would escape and go hike around the Sierras.

What is one interesting thing about you that other people don’t know about you?

I can play a lot of instruments.

What do you like about working at EHS?

The strong community feeling. I have been here so long that it truly feels like my second home. I have made so many friends with other teachers here and I am so grateful for that. I adore my Esperanza family!
