Daniel Sanchez is starting his first year writing for The Aztlán. He is in many different clubs, sports, arts, and takes honors/AP classes. This young man enjoys challenging himself in and out of the classroom. His next journey has taken him to being apart of the Esperanza High School newspaper, The Aztlán. In this amazing new environment he will have an important role among The Aztlán Staff as one of few reporters. As a reporter not only does one have a great opportunity to become even more involved within the amazing school, but there is a great responsibility that comes with. He must be up with all of the additional tasks and articles that he has been assigned to or else he will let down the rest of the newspaper staff. He believes that he can be a great help to the already amazing EHS The Aztlán because of his writing school and involvement within and outside of the school. His favorite quote about journalism is by Helen Thomas which is “We don’t go into journalism to be popular. It is our job to seek the truth and put constant pressure on our leaders until we get answers.”
