The iPhone 8 and the Google Pixel 2 have both recently come out. Both phones have their pros and cons, but I would recommend the iPhone 8.

Both of the phones have a very good quality camera. The iPhone camera is better for low-light photos, but the Pixel is better for portrait photos. The iPhone does have more camera features like 5 x digital zoom, auto flash, face detection, simultaneous HD video and image recording, and touch to focus while the Pixel only has fixed focus, according to gadgetsnow.com. But I would have to say that the iPhone camera quality is way better.

Neither phone has a headphone jack, so you will need to invest in wireless headphones no matter which phone you pick. The phones also have about the same speaker power and are both water resistant and dustproof. Also, each phone has a similar model to their last phone, but the iPhone has an all glass back which gives it a much smoother appearance than the Pixel’s.

Even though the Pixel has a better quality screen, the iPhone is more powerful overall. For example, the iPhone has a better camera, is better looking, has wireless charging, which is way more convenient, has nicer color choices, and loads faster.

This is to be expected because Apple has way more experience with phones than Google, since Apple has produced far more phones than Google and has been doing it since 1976.
