What is your favorite thing about teaching at EHS?
- My favorite thing about teaching is the relationships I form with my students. I love getting to know my students on a personal level and teaching them life lessons along with French and Spanish.
What do you like to do in your free time?
- I enjoy hiking behind my house; I live 5 minutes walking distance from Peter’s Canyon. I also love to read and travel.
Do you like teaching Spanish or French more?
- I love teaching both languages, but if I had to choose, I would say French because it’s the first language I learned after English and as a kid, I’ve always loved anything associated with France.
How long have you been at EHS?
- I’ve been teaching at EHS since I graduated from college. This is my 34th year.
What is the best part of working with kids?
- Working with teenagers allows me to stay young. I enjoy teaching kids life lessons and seeing them mature into young adults.
Would you rather go to Paris or Madrid?
- That’s a touch question; I love both cities, but I would have to say Paris because it was the first European city I lived in and fell in love with the language, architecture and culture.
