Michael Smock is a senior at Esperanza High School. Being a senior is a time to look to the future and reflect on the past years, and Michael recalls one of his favorite high school memories being, “going to the football games friday nights,” because he enjoyed being able to support his classmates and “hang out with” his friends. A typical day in Michael’s life includes going to school, going to work, and visiting the gym frequently. Someone Michael looks up to is Arnold Schwarzenneger because, “he’s very motivating.” One of Michael’s favorite quotes is, “The worst thing I can be is the same as everybody else,” because he finds it inspiring and wishes to be his unique self every day.
