Sam Assad is a second year Aztlán member and in her senior year. This will be her second year as a photojournalist and her first year as a photo and video editor for the paper. She enjoys taking photos because they tell the story that the viewer wants to see not necessarily what happened. This opens up the imagination for people to be creative on their own and discover things at their own will not at the will of others. She is in HOSA, CSF, NHS as well as in the Medical Academy and AP classes. She is excited for what new challenges and possibilities come about in her senior year.
