Freshman year, well for me it was stressful, confusing, and fun overall. During the first month it was mostly confusing trying to figure out where each class was but after that I started to get comfortable, until my classes got changed. It became a bit confusing but I still managed to find my new classes since they were close to each other and rarely were that different. After that I got more used to my classes and made new friends in some of them. I mostly had fun in some of the classes while others were boring but manageable, but during one day I got really sick and had to stay home for almost a week and as soon as I came back to school I found myself with
many missing assignments which were pretty stressful to deal with.
But overall if I had to pick on what surprised me in this school it would be the people here, I was mostly expecting grumpy people but instead most people were chill and kind. I kinda would have wished for my past self during the start of school to realize this and to also remember to stay on top of my school work. But by the end I had changed from being a person who thought school wouldn’t be that difficult to a person who would later use the new information from my previous months to stay on top. But mostly for the next 3 years of brutal school waiting for me in the future I would like for myself to focus on studying and getting passing grades and for me to gain some muscle during some spare time in summer school or over the next few years. And some advice I would give to the next freshman year would be to “never underestimate tests or school work in general”.
