Have you ever thought about how teachers try their best to help students? Or maybe about those programs that also help students, called mentor meetings? Well, if you do wonder, then that’s great because I will be explaining how hard teachers try to help students.
Well, first we’ll be talking about the “why” and “who”—why was the mentor program made, and who thought of starting it? Well, the ones who made this program were the PBIS committee, who started it to help students who didn’t have any support from others. And to also make sure students don’t fall behind in their classes by not trying in class. But now that we know the reasons for the mentoring program, let’s talk about how well it is going right now and whether it has any problems.
There is one problem with this program: some students either do not want to be part of it or show a lack of interest in the meetings. But for those who are showing interest and are doing better in class, Mrs. Lukach said, “If the student is eager for help and really leaning on the staff members for help, then they are doing great.” As we are about to end this article, let’s see what Mrs. Lukach says in her own words about this program: “I feel like the mentorship program is a great way for teachers to meet new students and help these students find success, show them what they are capable of, and learn to use the support systems around them!”
So in a short way if you ever need help or feel like you need help it is always a great way to ask your teachers for help.
