For over 40 years, Saturday Night Live has been poking fun of just about everything in American life and doing a hilarious job at it. Politics is pretty constantly under fire from these paradies. People like Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Sarah Palin have all received the SNL treatment. For the most part, they would laugh along or stay silent.

Because of the recent election, SNL has been going after Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, both being portrayed by Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon respectively. The actor and actress do a fantastic job and are quite funny.

This usually wouldn’t be news, but it’s Donald Trump’s reaction to it that is making headlines.  And if you really think about it, it is concerning. Trump tweeted on Sunday, Oct. 16, “Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!” Please do keep in mind he hosted this “boring and unfunny” show last season, and did it with a smile.

If this tweet doesn’t concern you, it probably should. If something like this is able to get under his skin so easily then what will his reaction be if something negative comes from another world leader?  It just shows how brash, hot-headed and easily offended he is.
