Editor-in-Chief, Aaron Jankowski suggests who you should watch during the college football season.

As week five begins, this season has already been host to numerous upsets and big games.  The top ten continues to change each week as the BCS playoffs slowly, yet surely approach.

It’s no surprise that Alabama tops every major poll, as this theme is becoming redundant after the Crimson Tide have been ranked first overall in four of the past five seasons.

Despite Alabama’s redundancy, some of the top teams are new to the football limelight. Louisville is a school that has made a name for itself in basketball standings, but this year’s football team is unveiling itself as a powerhouse. Led by Quarterback Lamar Jackson, the team seems unstoppable.  Jackson has become a top heisman candidate as he has already busted out extremely impressive numbers through four weeks.

Another Cinderella story is that of the University of Houston. Houston started off the season ranked 15th, but after an upset win over Oklahoma, the team is ranked sixth and showing no sign of slowing down. Quarterback Greg Ward Jr. hopes to carry the team to their first playoff bout.

It is likely that the rankings will change even more in these upcoming weeks, as a steady stream of intense match-ups await. Some notable games this week include #7 Stanford vs #10 Washington, #8 Wisconsin vs #4 Michigan, #3 Louisville vs #5 Clemson and #11 Tennessee vs #25 Georgia.

It is safe to say that Alabama has its hands full this season, as competition and upsets continue to heat up down the road.
