It’s the last week of school and graduation will happen in just one week, the night of which a revered high school tradition occurs, Grad Nite.

Grad Nite this year is being hosted at Dave & Buster’s, a gaming arcade, the event will run from 9:455 pm to 5:30 am. There will be all kinds of food: snacks, a late night buffet and early morning breakfast. Various types of events such as laser tag, a mechanical bull and a photo booth.

Despite the events offered at Grad Nite, some seniors just want to go to have fun with their friends. “I was motivated to go to Grad Nite because all of my friends are going and I didn’t want to be left out”, said Senior Colton McAtee.

However, other seniors weren’t so sure about attending. “I think that gradnite is a mixture of fun, but might not be worth the money”, said Senior Jaron Clampitt.

Tickets are still on sale through June 11th, a payment of $220 dollars in cash is required, with the associated forms & waivers at the activities office.

Make sure that you are on time to the bus transportation at Esperanza and to not go directly to the venue, “Every student must take the bus leaving school at 10 pm”, said activities director Meghann Lukach.
