Leo Heapy
Leo Heapy has been in the Newspaper program at Esperanza High School since 2023. This is his first year of Journalism and he is unsure what he will do in this program but will make sure to give it his all. A goofball at heart, Leo likes doing all things funny and social including hanging out with friends and trying to meet new people/try new things. After his high school graduation, he plans to become an electrician and join trade school instead of college and decide on whether to join a union or work non-union. Either way, he will have fun with the decisions that he makes and will have his dad help him because he works as a contractor and owns his own business. At the end of the day, Leo likes making people laugh, spending time with the ones he loves, and living by the quote, “You need to do the things you have to do first before you can do the things you want to do”.
